 COFFEE TIME at the Coleman Seniors Centre - The Coleman Senior Drop in Centre Association would like to invite you to join them THURSDAY MORNINGS from 9am to 11am for COFFEE TIME! Come for a visit with friends - old and new! Or sit quietly to read a book, work on a puzzel or finish your knitting! Wtih Winter Coming on (or has it already arrived??), and the garden put to bed, its a great chance to relax and socialize!

- Transportation will be avaliable for HAS students to be transferred to ISS for after school programming\

- They will offer programming for:

   After School (3:00pm to 5:30pm)

  Fridays (1:00pm to 5:00pm)

  PD Days ( 8:30am to  5:30pm)

- Weekly Themes: Make It Monday, Talk About It Tuesday, Work On It Wednesday, Free-Play Thursday and Fun Fridays

 February 15th  - National Flag Day In Pincher Creek  - On February 15th 1965 our national flag was raised for the first time on Parliment hill. Then in 1996, Feb 15th was declared NATIONAL FLAG DAY. Every year since we celebrate our beautiful National Flag of Canada. Be a aprt of the "Take a Selfie with the Flag" Challenge by posting a pictures of video of you wtih the Flag!


February 16 - 19th - Elkfrord WINTER IN THE WILD!   Put on your parks and slip on your mitts and join the celebration! Family Filled fun you dont want to miss! Its a weekend FULL OF EVENTS. THere will be an exciting fireworks show, a snow ball tournement, craft fair, and tea Social. Also check out the seniors Pig Roast dinner, Tobogganing, hockey action and the annual TURKEY TOSS!!



February 17th - Elkford Rod and Fun Club Annual Hunting Film Fundraiser.   Doors will open at the Elkford Community Centre at 5pm. patrons cab check out and participate in teh large Raffel table, put a bid on some GREAT silent auction items, view the vendor displays, and have a social drink. Snack foods, as well as pizza by the slice will be avaliable. This first part of the film will start at 7pm, with a half hour intermission starting at 815pm. They will do some special raffles during teh intermission, as well as soem, great door prizes. The second half od the movie will start at 845pm, finishing up around 945pm. The audience will then have more time to get thier names in for the raffles and auction. The event winds down at around 1130pm, with a tonne of great prizes goin home with alot of happy people!


February 23rd - 25th - WINTERVENTION in the Crowsnest Pass - A weekend FILLED with great outdoor activities to celebrate winter in the Pass! Events kick off FRIDAY afternoon with Pine needle weaving, the Wintervention Country Market, and Pass Powder Keg has gret events for the kids that evenign.

Saturday starts off with a pancake breakfast at the Lions Pride Hall in Blairmore at 8am. Them we have the chilli bowl festival at the Art Gallery, Never Ever Days at PPK, Skijoring at Satoris, The frying pan toss, and teh DINNER DANCE AND SILENT AUCTION at teh MDM (Tickets at ScotiaBank in Blairmore)

SUnday teh fun rolls on wtih outoodr skating and bonfire in Bellevue, snow sculpture contest, adn we end thing off wtih an afternoon movie for the kids at Orpheum Theatre (Despicalbe Me 3). For a full scheduel of events and registation details head to


February 28th - ANTI-BULLYING DAY in Pincher Creek. Join the Town of Pincher Creek and wear a pink shirt on February 28th to show your support for Anti-bullyign day. 

March 7th - MASS REGISTRATION in Pincer Creek. - More information coming..... 

March 10th - Pincher Archery Club 3-D Shoot. The Pincher Archery Club is holding a indoor 3-D Shoot Saturday March 10that teh Blue Ridign Area (289 Canyon Drive, PC) Registration at 9am. its 2 rounds of 21 targets. Concession will be avaliable!. Cost: Adults $30, Youth $15, Family $70.

March 14th - Pincher Creek & District  Chamber of Commerce AGM - The AGM will take pace at Noon at Two Sisters Magik Pantry. Tickets are $20 and avaliable on everbritie. Pease purchase your tickest on or before MARCH 7th. Annual Membership fees are due by January 31, 2018.
